Admission Procedure

Registration for Classes Nursery to XI opens in the first week of December.

The minimum age for admission to nursery class is 3 years six months

Minimum age will calculated a on 31st march in which year admission is sought.

The children’s are tested in the basic level of English, Hindi, math’s and science for the class in which the admission is required.

The result is declared within a week and the children are admitted, according to the order of merit and depending upon the number of vacancies in the class.

The child who has secured a seat will be given one week in which he/she can complete the admission formalities, after which his seat will be given away.

Once the admission formalities are complete, no money except the security, will be refunded, in case the child does not want to take up the given seat.

The principal’s decision regarding the admission is final.

Payment of Fees

The fees is collected on a quarterly basis and is to be paid into the bank, latest by the 10th of the month. A fine of Rs. 100 per month is charged for late fees.

Admission to Class XI for students of Carman School Dehra Dun

The students wishing to continue their education in the school after their Board Exams must rejoin in the beginning of the academic year i.e. in the month of April. These students will be granted provisional admission on the basis of the preliminary exam results till the day the Board Exam result are declared. Admission a swell as their stream of studies will be confirmed after they have achieved the required percentage laid down by the school.

Children not possessing the required percentage will not be given admission in the science stream of subjects. However, such children will be offered the Commerce stream of subjects provided they inform the school In writing with in 7 days of the I.C.S.E Result being declared.

All money, by way of admission fees and the school fees deposited will not be refunded in case of a child fails to achieve the required percentage set by the school for the various streams of subjects offered.

Admission to Class XI for new students

Admission for new students will take place on the 10th day after the results of the I.C.S.E. are declared. Students from other schools must register themselves as soon as the results are declared.

Only children successful in the interviews will be provided with an admission form.

The principal’s decision regarding the placement of a student will be final.

All forms etc. of the successful students have to be completed and submitted in the school office within three days of the admission being granted. These fees are non refundable.

Rules & Regulations

Parents and Guardians are advised to see that their children are regular and punctual for school. A minimum of 75% attendance is required.

Attendance of all students is compulsory on reopening and closing day of school.

Any pupil whose conduct, progress or application is unsatisfactory may be required to leave the school.

A pupil is liable to removal from the school if no satisfactory explanation is received from the parent/guardian for the following breaches of the disciplinary.

-Habitual unpunctually:
-Irregular attendance.
-Absence from school for three (3) days in succession, without any intimation.

A pupil is liable to removal from the school for the following reason.

-Insubordination to a member of the school staff.
-Deliberate disobedience of orders given by a member of the school staff.
-Conduct or Example in or out of school, which may be determined by the Principal to be Detrimental to the General God of the School.

-Intentional destruction/defacement of the school property Parents can get their child’s name registered for Admission in the month of December. They can also buy the Admission Forms, which are available from December onwards. The Syllabus for Entrance Test is available in the first week of January and Entrance Test is held in the last Sunday of February.

Guidelines for Admission to class XI


1. Admissions are done strictly on merit basis.
2. Children not possessing the required percentages will not be given admission in the Science stream. However, such children will be offered the Commerce stream provided they inform the school in writing within 7 days of the I.C.S.E. Council Results being declared in the month of May.
3. Interviews and entrance tests for new students will take place on the 10th day after the results of the ICSE are declared in May . Students from other schools must register themselves as soon as the results are declared.
4. Only successful children will be provided with an admission form.
5. The Principal’s decision regarding the placement of a student will be final.
6. All forms etc. of the successful students have to be completed and submitted in the school office within three days of the results being declared. These fees are non-refundable.

The school also offers day boarding facilities from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during which the child attends school, has lunch, special tuition and then attends games.
