Admission Procedure & Registration
- Registration for Classes Nursery to VIII are open. Students who have been transferred can apply anytime of the academic year.
- Parents are requested to send a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 towards registration in favour of “Principal, Carman School, Dehradun” along with the registration form. (The online registration form can be submitted online or printed and sent to us at the school address).
For Class Nursery
- Candidates seeking admission in class Nursery should have completed 3 years of age approx as on April of the year in which admission is sought.
- Admission in class Nursery will be conducted on the basis of a simple interaction/interview to observe the child's level of understanding, activity, and discipline.
For Classes K.G. to VIII
- Admission is based on an Entrance Test evaluating basic proficiency in English, Hindi, Mathematics, and Science for the class applied.
- Entrance test results are declared within a week, and candidates are admitted according to order of merit and available vacancies.
- Secured candidates are granted 1 week to complete admission formalities, after which seats are allotted to waiting list candidates.
Senior Secondary Level (Class XI Admission Criteria)
- Admission into Class XI streams (Commerce / Science / Humanities) is purely based on marks scored in Class X ICSE/Board Examinations. Candidates must get in touch with the school admission cell as soon as Class X board results are declared.
- For admission into the Science stream, the child must have obtained a minimum of 60% in Mathematics and 60% in Science in Class X.
- Students opting for Commerce with Mathematics as 5th subject must secure a minimum of 60% in Mathematics.
- Registrations open from the first week of November.

Class XI Admission for Carman Students
Existing students wishing to continue after Board Exams must rejoin in April. Provisional admission is granted based on preliminary exam results until Board Exam results are declared.
If a child does not achieve required percentage for Science, Commerce stream will be offered provided the school is informed in writing within 7 days of ICSE results. Deposited admission/school fees are non-refundable. The Principal’s decision regarding admission is final.
Payment of Fees & Late Fee Rules
Quarterly Basis
Fees is collected on a quarterly basis and paid directly in the bank, latest by the 10th of the month.
Late Fee Fine
A late fine of Rs. 100/- per month is charged for payments made after the due date.
